Applied Expertise
In 2006, Mr. Nacey launched Airgas’ premier National Bulk Beverage CO2 offering. He carried the complete profit and loss responsibility for the new company. He directed all sales and marketing activities, and was responsible for the company’s safety compliance program as well as DOT compliance. Within 12 months through existing locations, expanded operations and partner suppliers he provided a strategic plan for the expansion of Airgas’ existing business to service 98% of the marketplace.
Prior to 2006, Mr. Nacey provided P&L leadership for a 40+ location regional Airgas company. Additionally, he was involved in day-to-day functions in all aspects of the company including production, sales, and administration. He was directly responsible for various product groups including Bulk Gases, Beverage Gases, Specialty Gases, and Safety Sales as well as strategically managing all other products. He spearheaded the company’s expansion into new market niches, smoothly integrated sales efforts for all acquisitions, and streamlined and centralized the distribution of the company’s micro-bulk product offerings.
